Seven. It is the number we revolve around, the number our lives are centered around. Seven days in a week, seven months with 31 days, and seven continents. There are seven wonders of the world, seven gates and seven doors between this world and the next. There are seven virtues... and seven sins. Once, long ago the Seven Virtues and the seven sins weren't just rights and wrongs. They were people, Gods and Goddesses with human emotion. Fourteen of them, their lives entwined with one another for all eternity. That was a very, very long time ago. now it is present day. On the seventh day of the seventh month, fourteen children are born to Earthlings. These children are the embodiment, the reincarnated forms of the seven virtues and the seven sins. On the eve of their seventeenth birthday, these fourteenth children are drawn to the house at the top of Mulberry Lane. The house is said to be haunted... but is so, so worse than that. Here rest one of the seven gates, which has been opened to allow the souls of the seven virtues and sins to find their human hosts. Here, the Seven Virtues and the Seven Sins must band together against all odds, and destroy the demons that threaten to enter and destroy the human world... or the world could be lost for all eternity.

Chastity- He is the pure one, the untarnished one. Chastity always tries to see the good in people and he is a hardcore believer in the whole 'no sex until marriage' thing. He practices courtly love and romantic friendship. He finds cleanliness, hygiene, and lifestyle are all important and he never drinks. He is extremely honest and he never lets hostility, temptation, or corruption distract him. He is the leader of the Virtues. His Vice is Lust.

Charity- Charity is a very generous and self-sacrificing type of girl. She is the definition of love in and of itself and is as strong-willed as they come. She has an unlimited kindness towards all others, and would never lift a hand to protect herself, if it meant hurting another. She is often considered the ultimate perfection of the human spirit because she glorifies and reflects the nature of her God. Her vice is Greed.

Diligence- He is perhaps the most responsible of the Virtues and he never lets laziness seep in. He never gives up. He is persistent and determined. He is the type of guy that will never let you down no matter what the cost. Also known as Integrity, he will uphold one's convictions at all times, especially when no one else is watching.His Vice is Sloth.

Patience- She is the embodiment of Peace and and mercy. She is gentle and forgiving. She practices forbearance and endurance through moderation. She is good at resolving conflicts and injustice peacefully and she never resorts to violence. She knows how to forgive with grace and dignity, and shows mercy and compassion to sinners. Everywhere she goes she creates a sense of peaceful stability and community rather than hostility, suffering, and antagonism. Her vice is Wrath.

Lust- Lust is the definition of desire. Beautiful beyond belief, her power surpasses even that of her mother, the beautiful and illustrious Aphrodite. She is an incredibly sexual girl, the type of girl who knows her beauty and uses it. She lusts after everything from sex, to money, to fame, which works because she is rich as well as the head cheerleader.

Gluttony- Gluttony is known for her excessive wasting habits. Though she cares little for proportioning, she is still slender and beautiful. She is selfish, placing her own needs above others, which is possibly why she landed herself the spot as Co-Captain of the Cheerleading Squad. Gluttony is known to expect more of the things she has. She is demanding and bossy and cold.

Greed- Greed loves money. He believes in getting his 'fair share' and a bit more. He is a bully through and through, always on the lookout for people to steal from. He tends to run around with Wrath a lot. He is cold and calculating, always looking for ways to get more, more, more.

Wrath- He is the main bully. He beats on others just for the fun of it and he doesn't care who gets hurt. He likes throwing his weight around, and inspires fear and respect in those around him. He is impatient and short tempered, making him a deadly adversary. His loyalties are extremely questionable.

Sloth- Sloth has absolutely no drive whatsoever. She is lazy and relaxed and likes to take naps. She never pulls her own weight and is always begging people to do stuff for her. She is complacent and lacks perseverance and diligence. She is probably the most easy-going of the Sins, because she doesn't go out of her way to discredit or put down the Virtues. Quite simply... she doesn't give a damn.

Envy-[/b] He is the twin brother of Pride. He resents everything good that happens to others. Envy is cold and calculating, much like his twin sister. He is envious of what others have, but promptly disregards what he has. He is nearly indistinguishable from Pride, because they are so much alike. However the big difference is that where Envy tends to want materialistic items, Pride leans towards looks. He cares very little for anybody but himself, and maybe his sister.

Pride- She is constantly comparing herself to others and trying to better herself. Pride is vain, and she knows it. She is extremely competitive, especially when it comes to her twin brother Envy. She is cold and calculating, ready to put down anyone who dares surpass her in beauty. Which is probably why she hates Lust so wholeheartedly.
